of dim sums and celebrations...

so...
after months of missing dim sums..
finally got to try a buffet dim sum last month...

the meal that cost RM1k++ ...

this time...we brought...

Kun's cousin..

Rudy

it was alright...
considering that it was our first time...

and...
just 2 weeks back...
Aaron's friends from Perth came down...
so it was buffet dim sum once again..

meet..

Eugene

and

Vincent

we had over 30 bowls of 'sai mei lou' - honeydew sago that day...
in fact, we ordered so many bowls that the waitress actually left the desert cart and the big bowl of 'sai mei lou' for us =)
thats what i call good service!

and...
just couple of days back...
I went buffet dim sum once again with...

Sze Yee

we actually waited for more than 1 hour just for the 'sai mei lou'
ahahha...

'what to do lah i tell you...sai mei lou so nice mah'

so after months of craving for dim sums...
i'm officially sick/'sien'/jelak/'ni' of all the Aussie siu mais, paus , and everything related to aussie dim sum..
its time for a break...
at least a one month break...

on a separate note...
i miss dim sums back home =)

*******

with Eugene and Vincent here..
been goin out alot for the past week...

~bowling sessions...
*sorry no pics*

and...lets put it this way...
bowling sessions with Eugene and Vincent...
has really opened up my eyes...

I'VE NEVER SEEN SOOOOO MANY VARIETIES/ 'STYLES' OF BOWLING BEFORE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!
bowling with one leg in the gutter,
standing, sitting, lying on the floor while bowling,
sliding forward and bowl..
no look bowl...
literally launching the bowling ball high up in the sky...thank god nobody was injured..
and many more!

you name it...
they've done it...

~clubbing at Seven..

so before we head out...

we had nasi lemak..

made by Benny and Pei Jean...
seriously...
the BEST nasi lemak you can ever find in Melbourne!

on our way..

aaron

with vincent and dave

outside the club

eugene, jas, aaron, vincent

with jas

jas and dave

funniest part of the night?
few asians actually decided to take on the bouncers who were at least triple their size!

~karaoke sessions...

Vincent
the Sarawakian

Eugene and Aaron
the Johorians

letting it all out to....
Frank Sinatra's My Way

after going karaoke few times in Melbourne...
we kinda miss songs back home...
local mandarin and malay songs...
you can't find it here...
ahaha

~
and...
with the dim sums and all...
definitely alot of eating sessions ahahah!

***********

last Saturday...
birthday celebration for Ashwin and Kun..

Ashwin

Kun

Pei Jean's Tiramisu
as the birthday cake

yeaap she made it!
and...
it tastes not bad at all =)

and of course...

drinks

All of us before drinks...
all sober...

so after we finish the cake...
we moved on to drinking games...devils deck..
more specifically...
they moved on to drinking games...
I didn't plan to drink that night..

so yea...the games began...

weird things happened...
that night..

from..

listening to the Indian birthday boy rap in mandarin...

to a..

ass dance by Eugene...
in order to earn a toilet pass...

to a rule that nobody can laugh for the entire night...
if broken...
face the consequences..

Vincent trying hard not to laugh
by munching on his hand...

and out of nowhere...

everyone started conversing in Malay....

and they even had to do rhymes in Malay...

" we really haven't forgot our roots...
I swear!

=)
"

in the end....
lets just say...
i pity the cleaners the next morning...

they even have to clean up pukes in the basketball court...

cause,
for some reason...
someone thought it was a great idea to play basketball when everyone was high...
in the middle of the night...
3am...

.......Dr Anwar Ibrahim, an opposition leader in Malaysia was arrested

i read the news on9 on the very day Anwar got arrested,
and the next day...
it was published in the Aussie papers...

not bad eh?!
Malaysia Boleh!
front page!
with this sort of news...
ahahaha...

when will we ever learn?
